Slaughterhouse Five made me dizzy~

During the Christmas break I opened the book, Slaughterhouse Five, and started to read the book. The book was very confusing because when I first read the story, I thought the story was boring like other war-time history. Personally I don't like to read historical fact book, but starting from second chapter, the theme of time travel showed up and interested me to read book more deeply. I learned in the history class, and almost 130000 people were died from the Dresden bombing. The author, Kurt Vonnegut, used a main character and theme of time travel to depict life in Dresden. However, the idea of time travel kept confused me, and distracted me. This distraction made read very hard to focus. Overall, personally I didn't like this book, but I am sure that Slaughterhouse five was great magical realistic piece.

Reflections on Hitchhiking Game

When I first read this book I was surprised to encounter the sexual contents because in Korea the society is more careful with reading sexual contents especially for minors.
The beginning was very interesting because the car was out of gas, and suddenly the plans were changed.
I personally like the story with fast pace of change in synopsis because it makes the story more intense and spectacular. Also the theme of escaping from the normality interested me because most people think of these things in their dreams, and the story take it into advance and layout more deep stories about each characters and settings. The mentioning of each character's personal feelings and history made story even more spectacular. Overall I really liked the Hitchhiking Game, and it was one of my favorite magical realist piece.
