The Appropriate Perspective.
This chapter talks about being a good leader requires one to not only focus on one thing, but
spread the attention throughout various issues. This chapter starts by talking about strict rules vs
loose rules. However, Tao states that it is good to balance both rules in order to create the best outcome.
Also Tao says that human usually follows the natural habit that was kept practiced, but Tao suggests
human to stay away from habit and increase the attention to other minorities. Tao wants people to become
active leader who can break away from natural habit and be free leader.

Taoism chapter 2 comparison
In this chapter, I think Tao is trying to say that comparison always exist. Because in order to define
beauty there should be ugly, so I think the comparison makes us to judge something between moral and immoral. Also Tao says that true scholars do not teach their followers, but instead they lead their followers
by example. The true scholars sometimes may experience harsh obstacles, but they should get over it too.
Although those harsh obstacles gives hard time, the work is not done for individual but for the whole world. I liked this chapter because it gives moral lesson that is essential to know about, but it doesn't force specific understanding but shows the necessity of understanding the idea.

Draw me a sheep~~~
5 quotes from Little Prince
"Draw me a sheep!"
This quote signifies the innocence of a child who wants a picture of sheep while adult is busy
trying to find a solution to fix his plane. Maybe the author Antoine De Saint - Exupery tries to
show that sometimes take time to think about ideal stuff can help adult to find the true solution
to life instead of realistic perspective.
"Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them."
This quote tells us that the minds of adults are closed, and only try to look for practical things that can
be useful. Children's idealistic mind always seek for new, innovative ideas while closed adults are having
hard time understanding the idealistic ideas. This teaches the lesson that open mind is needed for people
to seek the real beauty of life.
"If you tell grown-ups, "I saw a beautiful red brick house, with geraniums at the windows and doves on the roof...," they won't be able to imagine such a house. You have to tell them, "I saw a house worth a hundred thousand francs." Then they exclaim, "What a pretty house!" "
This quote tells us that in our capitalistic society people always seek for wealth and profits. Therefore they misunderstand the true description of the beautiful house by saying the house is worth hundred thousand dollars.
This also tells us that in order to see the real beauty of things, people need to learn how to look at things without
monetary values.
""That is the hardest thing of all. It is much harder to judge yourself than to judge others. If you succeed in judging yourself, it's because you're truly a wise man." :
I really liked this quote because when I tried to write a personal essay about myself, it was very hard to describe
myself and judge my life based on my accomplishments. Maybe this is because I have not done things perfectly
or it might also be because there are people far more better than me. I agree with this quote that judging myself is
the hardest thing of all
""One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes." "
This quote tells us that inner mind is the important thing rather than outside, physical beauty. A person can decorate himself with many beautiful clothes, accessories, and things with high monetary values, but it is important that the person see the inner mind. Inner mind can be seen by the heart not eyes. Therefore anything essential is invisible to eyes.

Different writing point of view
Situation : Vincent woke up in the morning and does not want to go to school
1st person
Oh my God!!! I'm so tired from last night study!! Vincent screamed. I hate the alarm, the weather, the computer, and everything.I wish I can control the school and make today no-school day. When will I become a college student who have freedom to schedule my classes! I will never put any classes in the Morning
3rd Limited
6:30 in the morning, Vincent's alarm clock started to ring and vibrate. Vincent, like a dead person, stayed on his bead for few more minutes. Suddenly, Vincent's eye was opened, and he started to scream at the alarm clock. He snoozed his alarm clock and started to murmur something in his dream. He seems mad about going to the school and repeat this cycle everyday.
3rd Omnipotent
It is 6:30 in the morning and Vincent's alarm will start ring within a second. This is usual for Vincent to tell at his phone and alarm clock. Every morning Vincent is always in bad mood beside when he is sleeping in during the weekends. However, he never goes to sleep and always think that everything will be alright. Vincent wants to have freedom to choose his classes but this will not happen until he goes to college and he knows that too. Vincent, although feel sick, walks to his shower and start off his days.

Eva is inside her cat?
As I started to open up the first page of Eva Is Inside her cat by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I was little surprised to find that Eva has problem with her beauty. As I posted on my previous post, many people currently are stressed with diet and other physical properties of themselves, but Eva is stressed about her beauty because she was too beautiful. This weird situation got me focused on the story, and as I read the book, I was keep losing the main theme of the story, but what I think the main theme is after losing her lover, the loneliness struck Eva's soul and made her became somewhat psychotic. After her suicide, she became a ghost, but became ghost made her more lonely, and she wanted to taste the orange that grew from her lover's decaying body. Her eagerness versus cat's natural tendency to chase mice became the major theme after, and she falls into the limbo where she is stuck in and cannot get out.For two thousand years, Eva's inner mind is fighting for the taboo which is eating the orange. I think Marquez was trying to symbolize the Pandora's chest. According to Greece-Rome mythology, Pandora, who received a chest from the Zeus, was in similar situation of opening the chest because Zeus told Pandora not to open it. However, Pandora opened the chest, but in Eva is Inside her cat, Eva gets stuck in a limbo without any final ending which makes the story even more mystery. I enjoyed reading this book, and it was very deep story with complicated themes.

Creative Writing (Metamorphosis)
Chapter 1
Vincent, a Korean guy who attended a private school in Georgia, woke up at 7AM, and started his tuesday morning with hot shower. After taking a shower, like always, Vincent changed his clothes, and he started to pack his backpack while listening to the music. He went to the dining hall for the breakfast. Vincent always ate banana every morning like natural habit, but today when he ate the banana Vincent's skin was start itching. As Vincent swallowed his banana, he started to feel something strange about himself. Today was totally different than other day, and Vincent's friends started to ask if he is alright.
Chapter 2
Although Vincent sometimes have allergy by some foods, but banana was one of his favorite food and he never had trouble with eating the banana. Therefore, instead of going to the classroom, Vincent went straight to the bathroom locate in the library. Vincent started to feel something wrong with his body, and suddenly a brown hair started to come out from his skin. After one hair, the another one came out, and the soft brown hair started to dominate his body and eventually covered up all the skin. His face was also turning brown.Knowing that he turned into a monster with brown fur all over the body, Vincent was afraid of looking himself through the mirror.Vincent closed his eyes, and he went in front of the mirror. When Vincent slapped himself, he felt the pain and started to worry about his future. While he was worrying he heard somebody screaming, and he hid in the toilet.

Avant Garde
Avant Garde
What is Avant Garde???
In my opinion, I think Avant Garde is a trend of artistic movement that highly occurred during 1860 to 1960. Avant Garde had various ways of different artistic variation, and all Avant Garde works were innovative and unconventional. During the time, Avant Garde tried innovative artistic skills, but at the same time, they had some rules that they had to follow. The movement started in France, and the work Avant Garde signifies "advanced guard" in Frence. Many variations of the Avant Garde movement were highly artistic, and there are two that I especially focused on: Die Brucke and Op Art
Die Brucke
Die Brucke is an artistic movement started in Germany in 1906 by a group name Die Brucke. Die Brucke means "The Bridge" in German. Die Brucke started their technique as an answer to the influence of Munchs social pessimism and the color of Fauvist paintings. Their technique was trying to create unsophiscated and distorted images. The woodcut by Die Brucke was especially had rigorously graphic buildup and abbreviation of form that made Die Brucke special. Also sometimes they created sexual images.
Op Art

Op art is an artistic movement that started from Bauhaus school of Art in Germany. It was created by an artist name Walter Gropius. Op art is an art using techniques of optical Illusion. Optical Illusions can occur by using black and white and also many different colors. Optical arts are drawn in 2 dimensions but it looks like 3 dimension, and that is the interesting thing about op art. Interestingly, the artists use eye's response to the pictures. It is very interesting art technique.

What is meant by national eating disorder?
Today in our society there are many famous stars with skinny body, and people usually praise those bodies and become fans.
Due to this idolization of popular stars make young people to go on a diet or even stop eating.
With these bad habits of eating, young people can lack their nutritions that will help their body to grow normal ways.
By not eating or going on diet, young people might miss the joyfulness of eating, and they can get depression if dieting become more serious.
Teenagers need variety of nutritions to grow into adult normally, and if dieting becomes obstacle than eating disorder can occur.
Likewise, erratic food habit that gets larger among teenager is one of the national eating disorder, and its getting worse as days go.
